John Stamos’ 7-year-old son is ready to become an actor just like his dad

John Stamos’ son, Billy is following his dad’s footsteps and wants to become an actor.

The ‘Full House’ actor didn’t want his son to be in Hollywood, but the actor admits Billy loves it, “He did his first play at the community center. He did ‘Beetlejuice.’ The sandworm,” John told Us Weekly at the 54th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction.

“I didn’t want him to go into acting, but he loves it! [] We took him to see Darren Criss last night, and he sat there and did not move,” the proud father explains.

John explains he was able to take Billy backstage after the show and that’s when he “walked onto the stage and started spinning around and ran through the theater. I think it’s going to be his calling,” the 61-year-old actor admitted.

John Stamos welcomed Billy with wife Caitlin McHugh Stamos in 2018. The couple announced they were expecting their first child just two months before they got married.
