The 20th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is expected to be credited by the end of June 2025, according to multiple media reports. The government has not yet announced an official date.

Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each.
The last instalment, the 19th, was disbursed in February 2025.
Reports suggest that over 9 crore farmers are waiting for the 20th instalment. Beneficiaries are advised to ensure that their eKYC, Aadhaar seeding, and land record verification are complete.

Farmers can check their beneficiary status and payment updates on the official PM-KISAN website (https://pmkisan.gov.in/). The site allows users to verify their name in the beneficiary list and complete eKYC through OTP-based or biometric methods.
States and Union Territories have reportedly submitted updated beneficiary data to the central government. Once verified, funds will be directly transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, according to Indian Express report.
Farmers who miss the instalment due to pending verifications may receive the amount in the next cycle, once issues are resolved.
