These aerial images of the new Big Carlos Pass Bridge construction were captured April 1, 2025. The bridge will connect the south end of Fort Myers Beach to Lover’s Key on Estero Boulevard.
- The Lee County MPO will hold a public hearing on June 20, 2025, at 9 a.m. to discuss transportation improvements.
- The board will consider adopting the FY 2025/2026 to FY 2029/2030 Transportation Improvement Program.
- Updates to the federal and state project priority list and multi-modal project priorities will be addressed.

The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on June 20, 2025 at 9 a.m., at the Lee County Administration East Building located at 2201 Second Street in Room 118.

Three items are on the agenda for consideration, according to a press release from the Lee County MPO. The public hearing items that the Board will consider include the following:
