Anouck Vrancken Peeters vs Lulu Sun prediction

Anouck Vrancken Peeters is set to make her full debut on grass. Ranked number 519, the Dutch woman last played in a W50 event last week in Troisdorf where she lost 7-6 6-2 to Alexis Blokhina.

Lulu Sun did not have the best of clay seasons and lost in the first-round of Roland Garros to Victoria Mboko. She couldn’t take any of her chances during the match, failing to convert any of her seven break point opportunities.

Nevertheless, the New Zealnder now returns to the grass after a historic campaign on the surface last year. Her run at Wimbledon, which saw her get through the qualifying and beat the likes of Qinwen Zheng and Emma Raducanu in the main draw, made her just the second New Zealand woman to reach the last eight at the All England Club.

Sun will be hopeful of an upturn in form on the grass and we think she’ll get off to a winning start at the Libema Open with a straight sets victory.

Anouck Vrancken Peeters vs Lulu Sun tip: Lulu Sun to win 2-0
