The Dawson’s Creek alum joined her fellow theater stars at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall to recognize the best of Broadway from the past year.
For the occasion, the actor slipped into a look that could’ve been straight out of Oz—in the best possible way, of course. Her striking two-piece ensemble delivered an unexpected color pairing that just so happens to be Broadway’s most iconic study in contrast.

It features a high-shine emerald green top with a boxy silhouette and wide, relaxed sleeves that echoed the minimalist, almost utilitarian cut of the garment. Anchoring the look was a floor-grazing blush pink satin skirt, richly embellished with crystal embroidery in delicate, feathered motifs that shimmered as she walked.
The contrast between the clean lines of the top and the ornate, hyper-feminine texture of the skirt added just the right amount of drama for theater’s biggest night.

Holmes may best be known for her career in film and television, but the actor has also starred in several Broadway and off-Broadway plays. Most recently, she took the stage for Our Town, which completed its limited run at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre January 19. The Kenny Leon-directed Broadway revival of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town also starred Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) and Zoey Deutch (NCIS and Set It Up).
While Holmes was not nominated for a 2024 Tony Award for her performance, Our Town did receive a nomination in the category of Best Revival of a Play last season—though Appropriate, starring Sarah Paulson, ultimately took home the award.
