June is shaping up to be a big month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as there’ll be several day-one releases on the service to look forward to. The biggest one here is FBC: Firebreak, the next game from Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy Entertainment, as this action-packed Control spin-off is looking to offer a live-service experience that doesn’t rely on FOMO to keep its servers populated.
Before that game arrives, there are a few classics that you can check out as well. RPG fans can download the enhanced versions of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2 right now, and on June 10, Captain Demetrian Titus hacks, slashes, and shoots his way through Ork hordes in a remastered edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. If you’d prefer something much less violent, you can help Barbie save the Malibu Waves Community Center in Barbie Project Friendship, and Kingdom: Two Crowns is all about collecting coins, building defenses, and reclaiming your territory.
Another big day-one release is The Alters, a sci-fi survival game where the only way off of a hostile planet is to clone yourself. The catch here is that each of these clones–based on the protagonist Jan–are shaped by different life choices, so you’ll have to deal with your past if you want to survive. There’s also Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time arriving on June 17 for some retro-inspired platforming fun, and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die rounds out the day-one releases with a blend of dynamic real-time action, tactical combat, and risky throws of the dice.

A few games will also be leaving Game Pass this month, so you’ve only got a few days left to try out titles like Hypnospace Outlaw and My Time At Sandrock.
