One of 2024’s highest rated PS5 console exclusives is getting DLC later this year, with an announcement coming soon, according to a known insider. It’s being reported that Bloober Team is working on DLC for Silent Hill 2 remake based on the original “Born from a Wish” scenario.

Silent Hill 2 remake, one of PS5’s surprise hit exclusives, may get a DLC reveal soon
Born From a Wish was a storyline included in an extended version of the original Silent Hill 2. According to insider Dusk Golem, who has a pretty good track record when it comes to horror game leaks, Born from a Wish DLC is “100%” happening, and it’ll be announced “pretty soon.”
As for where it’ll be announced, Dusk Golem can’t say. There are several events coming up this week, starting with PlayStation State of Play later today, followed by Summer Game Fest 2025 on Friday, June 6.
While it makes more sense for the DLC to be revealed at State of Play since Silent Hill 2 remake is a timed PS5 console exclusive, Dusk Golem has said that it’s not outside the realm of possibility for the DLC to be revealed at the upcoming Xbox Showcase alongside the announcement of an Xbox version.
