Going into the Season 7 premiere, we knew that host Ariana Madix would be back, but would the cast live up to fans’ high expectations? Huda Mustafa was the third girl to enter the Love Island Season 7 villa, and with her charming and outgoing energy, everyone immediately fell in love with her. However, we all spoke way too soon. When the season really got going, I very quickly realized that she needed to be booted out of the Love Island villa.
Huda Mustafa Seemed Like The Next Leah Kateb
I had high hopes for the season when Huda entered the villa and met Chelley Bissainthe and Olandria Carthen. Huda entered Love Island with confidence, humor, and an electric energy that drew in both her fellow houseguests and fans. The three had similar banter to Power Puff Girls or PPG from last season, which was the dynamic trio, comprised of Leah Kateb, Serena Page, and JaNa Craig, that ran the villa. I was getting the same vibes from last season, and to be honest, I was convinced the three were going to make for an amazing season.
Huda also revealed to to Chelly and Olandria that she was a single mom, which made me respect her. It can’t be easy taking care of a child, let alone on your own. Huda coming to Love Island sent the right message. Everyone is deserving of love, everyone is beautiful, and Love Island is for all young singles, moms included.

Although Leah from Season 6 was not a mom, Huda and Leah had similarities. The two both came to the villa with a radiating confidence, unmatched sense of humor, and a star quality that makes me drawn to watching them. Like Leah, I knew that Huda was going to be the “main character” or the most followed storyline on the show. However, now I can’t believe I even compared the two. By Episode 2, I knew I had spoken way too soon, and that the two are actually nothing alike.
Huda Mustafa Dodges Around The “Mom” Topic
From the moment Huda met model Jeremiah Brown, it was clear they’d couple up. The sparks flew during the kissing challenge, and their chemistry was undeniable. At first, I was all in on their connection. But as the season progressed, Huda’s behavior started to shift—and not in a good way.
Unlike Chelly and Olandria, Huda refused to tell Jeremiah about her daughter. Huda argued in her confessionals and to the other girls in the villa that she wanted someone to get to know her first before revealing that she was a mom. Isn’t being a mom a huge part of who you are? That’s when fans really started to question if they liked Huda or not.
Things only went from bad to worse when Jeremiah questioned why Huda was staying in a two-bedroom place. Instead of just telling the truth when the topic was brought up, or shutting down the conversation with “I just live in a two-bedroom place,” she made suspicious comments as to why she lives in a two-bedroom home. Huda said that she would tell Jeremiah later as to why, meaning there was a reason for the second bedroom. Of course, that response is going to make Jeremiah wonder why on earth Huda would need a second room. Was she living with an ex? Married? An OnlyFans model? The fact that Huda was so adamant about hiding that she had a child did not sit well with viewers.

Huda and Jeremiah were as happy as can be — until the bombshells began. When Amaya Espinal had her sights set on Jeremiah, jumped on him and kissed him during the baseball game, Huda had a meltdown. Regardless of the fact that Amaya is on the island for that reason, Huda cried to the OG girls, telling them Amaya is a “b-” for taking her man. Does she know she’s on Love Island? Since Amaya, other bombshells have tried to make a move on Jeremiah, and Huda makes it very clear that he’s a no-go. Fans have become fed up with Huda’s clingy and cringey behavior. She is too possessive over Jeremiah, who she had just met. She has to wake up and realize she’s on Love Island, and that’s the name of the game. If she doesn’t let Jeremiah explore other connections, and she won’t explore herself, why are you in the villa?
