Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 15, and restaurants across the country are celebrating by offering deals and discounts on the day.

According to the United States Census Bureau, there are an estimated 72 million fathers in the U.S., with 29 million of those fathers also being grandfathers.

According to History.com, the nation’s first Father’s Day was celebrated in the state of Washington on June 10, 1910. While President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day became a national holiday in 1914, it wasn’t until 1972 when President Richard Nixon made Father’s Day official on the third Sunday in June, according to History.com.

Hooters offers BOGO on wings for Father’s Day, more deals for HootClub Rewards members

On Sunday, June 15, Hooters customers who purchase 10 wings any style will receive 10 boneless wings free, the company told USA TODAY. Additionally, from June 13-15, HootClub Rewards members can get one select appetizer for just $5. Appetizer options include mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, chips & queso and buffalo shrimp, among other options, limit one $5 appetizer per account.

Shake Shack offers BOGO on burgers for Father’s Day

Now through Monday, June 16, Shake Shack customers can get a BOGO Double Shackburger using promo code “DADMODE” on the Shack App, online at Shakeshack.com, or in-Shack kiosks, according to the company. The Double Shackburger features two made-to-order quarter pound Angus beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun, according to the chain.

Get a BOGO sandwich deal at Wendy’s on Father’s Day

On Sunday, June 15, Wendy’s customers can celebrate Father’s Day with a buy one, get one free premium sandwich, with the offer available exclusively through the Wendy’s app. According to Wendy’s, examples of premium sandwiches include a Dave’s Single, Baconator, and the Classic and Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, among others.

Red Robin offers gift card deal for Father’s Day

Red Robin customers can purchase a $50 Red Robin gift card and receive a $10 Red Robin Bonus Buck reward, according to the company. Additionally, customers who sign up or the Red Robin Royalty program can get a free appetizer upon sign up.

Krispy Kreme offers two new doughnuts for Father’s Day

Krispy Kreme is introducing a Father’s Day Dozen on Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, that includes two all-new doughnuts:

• Bow Tie & Suspenders Doughnut: An Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and drizzled with a green and blue vanilla flavored icing
• Plaid Doughnut: An Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in blue vanilla-flavored icing and drizzled with white and green vanilla-flavored icing

Two of each of the new doughnuts are packaged with three Original Glazed, three Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled and two Chocolate Iced with Rainbow Sprinkles doughnuts in the Father’s Day Dozen, according to the company.

Buffalo Wild Wings offers deal on wings, fries for Father’s Day

On Father’s Day, Buffalo Wild Wings customers can get 20 traditional wings and fries for only $19.99 when ordering online or through the Buffalo Wild Wings app, according to the company.

Separately, the chain has brought back it’s All You Can Eat Wings promotion from Mondays-Thursdays. Customers can get bottomless boneless wings for $19.99 and traditional or mix & match for $24.99. The deal is available for dine-in only for a limited time, the company said.

Dunkin’ offers Triple Rewards on Father’s Day weekend

Dunkin’ Rewards members get 3x points on half-dozen and dozen donuts and Munchkins orders this weekend, according to the chain. Customers can also enjoy a $3 medium Dunkin’ Pink Spritz Refresher or “treat dad to his favorite iced coffee.”

Fogo de Chão offers future discount for dine-in guests on Father’s Day

This Father’s Day, all dads who dine in at Fogo de Chão will receive $25 off two churrasco experiences to be redeemed on a future visit, the company told USA TODAY.

Additionally, one lucky dad will be selected to win their very own at-home churrasco grill crafted by the same makers of Fogo’s “proprietary open-flame churrasco grills.”

Brunch items at the restaurant will be served until 2 p.m. on Father’s Day, the company said, including items such as made-to-order omelets and Brazilian sausage, among others.

Scooter’s Coffee offers BOGO deal on Father’s Day

Scooter’s Coffee customers can redeem a buy one, get one drink offer on Sunday, June 15 in the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app. There is a limit of one offer per customers and it must be redeemed using the app.

Long John Silver’s offers Father’s Day deal for loyalty program members

From June 12-15, Seacret Society members can get a special Two Can Dine offer at Long John Silver’s, exclusively through the company’s mobile app. Customers can score two meals for only $14.99, and options include a 2-piece fish meal, 8-piece shrimp meal, and 3-piece chicken meal, among other options.
