The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has coordinated the return of Taher Salim Dola, wanted by the Mumbai Police in a narcotics case, from the United Arab Emirates through Interpol channels.

The accused was sent to India on Friday (June 13, 2025) on board the flight AI-984 from Dubai to Mumbai. He was earlier geo-located in the UAE by the CBI with assistance from Interpol.

Mr. Dola was wanted by the Mumbai Police over a First Information Report registered at Kurla police station on the allegation of operating a synthetic drug manufacturing factory at Sangli, Maharashtra.
