Forward Jarace Walker has been ruled out for fourth straight game with a sprained right ankle.

Turner had five blocks in almost 30 minutes of action in the Pacers’ Game 3 win over the Thunder, but he scored just nine points on 3 of 11 shooting and grabbed just two rebounds. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said Wednesday night that part of his struggles came from being “under the weather” with an illness that was affecting his “wind.” Carlisle was asked about him Thursday and noted that he would not take part in the media session.

“He was there for our film session,” Carlisle said. “He’s going home. Hopefully he’ll feel better tomorrow. We’ll see.”

Turner is averaging 14.9 points per game in the playoffs on 50.8% shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. His 44 total blocks in the playoffs are the most of any player.

Walker sprained his right ankle in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in which the Pacers clinched their series against the Knicks. He had to leave the arena on crutches that night. Carlisle has not ruled him out for the series, but noted days after the injury that it would be “awhile” before Walker could return.
