NBA insider Chris Haynes directly got the news from the source himself and delivered it to Ice Cube Saturday on the broadcast for BIG3’s first slate of games for the 2025 campaign.

The 45-year-old Crawford played 20 NBA seasons from 2000-01 to 2019-20 for nine NBA teams. He was a fantastic weapon off the bench, winning the Sixth Man of the Year award three times and finishing fifth or better in the race on six occasions.

Crawford enjoyed a three-year stretch from 2008-2010 where he averaged 19.4 PPG. He also enjoyed a great five-season run for the Los Angeles Clippers from 2012-13 to 2016-17, averaging 15.3 PPG and winning the Sixth Man of the Year award three times.

Since his NBA career ended, Crawford has found success as an NBA broadcaster and analyst. He will be joining NBA on NBC as a lead game analyst starting next season.

But Crawford might have a summer job when he’s not doing that as the BIG3 could be featuring the talented outside shooter and ball-handler.
