Conducted by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA), the game not only promotes the sport of archery but also offers players a chance to win rewarding cash prizes.

1. The Shillong Teer game is conducted in two brief rounds, each lasting around two minutes.
2. In the first round, skilled archers release 30 arrows, followed by 20 arrows in the second.
3. Participants bet on a number between 0 and 99, predicting how many arrows will land on target in a round.
4. Tickets can be purchased from authorised outlets in denominations of Rs 1,Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50.
5. If your prediction matches the result of either round, you will win a cash prize.
6. The prize amount depends on the accuracy of your prediction and the amount wagered.

For instance, Guessing the first-round number with a ₹1 ticket can win you ₹80. A correct number in the second round with a Rs 1 ticket gets you ₹60. If both guesses are accurate, you could win as much as Rs 4,000 with a single Rs 1 ticket.
