Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Taylor Fritz prediction

Felix Auger-Aliassime has his eyes set on a third Stuttgart final after swatting aside German starlet Justin Engel.

The 17-year-old wildcard’s giant-killing exploits were ended by the fourth seed as he posted a convincing 7-6 6-3 success.

The Canadian will now face second seed Taylor Fritz in the last four after the American prevailed 6-3 6-4 against qualifier Marton Fucsovics.

This will be the fourth meeting between the pair and a first on grass with Fritz holding a 2-1 advantage.

FAA did win their most recent encounter at the United Cup at the start of the year with all three matches going to a decider.

Fritz is in new territory in the semi-finals in Stuttgart, but he did reach the last eight at Wimbledon last year and is a three-time Eastbourne champion, so with his seeding and pedigree he will start as favourite.

Auger-Aliassime has the weapons to win and it would not be a surprise to see it go the distance which is where the value lies.

Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Taylor Fritz tip: Over 2.5 sets
