Pakistan pace bowler Haris Rauf has admitted that every bowler wants to get Babar Azam out as he is “that good” of a batsman.
Azam has not been anywhere near his best over the past few months, but has shown signs of improvement in his last couple of assignments.

During the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, the Lahore native struck 129 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 43.
Afterwards, he captained the Peshawar Zalmi in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and made 288 runs in 10 games, which included three fifties, at an average of 36 and a strike-rate of 128.57.
Knowing how dangerous Azam can be with the bat, Rauf conceded that he feels happy whenever he gets the 30-year-old out.

After PSL 10, Pakistan went up against Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, but Azam was not included in the team.
Rauf, however, did play and took one wicket in two games at an average of 59 and an economy rate of 11.80.
