The country singer, 30, welcomed her first baby, daughter Beni Doll Arnold, with her husband Cam Arnold, on Wednesday, June 11, announcing the exciting news in a joint post on Instagram. The newborn came into the world at 8:44 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz., and measuring 19 inches long. In the adorable snaps, the newly minted mom shared the first photos of her family of three bonding in the hospital room.
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time. I will never be the same,” the couple wrote in her caption. “You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter.”

“To celebrate the most precious miracle on Earth I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter,” she began. “We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of my daddy. I wasn’t sure when I would share Heaven Sent but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now.”
“She came just before Father’s Day. My first without my own father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it,” she continued. “Beni’s daddy. My sweet and steady husband. Beni truly is a gift from God that my old man sitting up there in Heaven Sent. It’s out now everywhere.”
After teasing her pregnancy in her “Those Kind of Women” music video, which premiered on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the country singer exclusively confirmed her happy news of her pregnancy with PEOPLE.
“[I didn’t know] I can love something that I haven’t even really held yet. I feel the baby inside me, and it’s kicking me and doing all of the things. It’s like I was the Grinch or something, and my heart grew,” Alaina told PEOPLE at the time.
Alaina — who married Arnold in February of last year — also told PEOPLE the pregnancy “bonded” couple “even more” than their marriage did. However, she always knew Arnold would make a great father one day.
“My love for him grew that day of getting married, and then finding out we were having a baby together. Walking through this experience with him has been unbelievable,” the “Getting Over Him” singer said. “I’m looking forward to watching my husband be a dad. He is so obsessed with our animals; he’s a big nurturer in general. In fact, when I was getting ready to marry him, that was something that I knew would be one of the best things about being his wife, was being able to parent with him.”

Before she learned of her pregnancy, Alaina and Arnold had planned to start trying for a baby at the end of 2025 — but mother nature had other plans.
“Now I’m scared because I don’t feel like I passed any sort of test. They don’t make you take a test on being a mom. It’s crazy. People are like, ‘What’s your plan with the birth? And what’s your plan here?” And I’m like, listen, ‘God’s plan. It wasn’t my plan,’ ” she said, adding that she’s been asking her own mom and friends with kids for advice.
Despite not having an exact plan, the newly minted mom has embraced this journey fully. She said her pregnancy left her feeling amazed by what her body is “capable of,” shifting her perspective on body image.
“My love and appreciation for my body has transformed in the last five months. Just what a miracle it is. The female body is insane,” she said. “I have really struggled with body image in my life, and now that I have this baby, I’m like, ‘How could I have ever thought something negative about this body of mine that can do this?’ It’s unbelievable.”
