The New Jersey Lottery announced on June 9 that a ticket sold in Sussex County matched the five numbers to win the $1,517,266 jackpot − the sixth Jersey Cash 5 jackpot to top a million dollars.
It’s the 30th time the Jersey Cash 5 so far this year.
The winning ticket was sold at a Quick Chek on Route 23 in Franklin. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner was so excited they drove about 100 miles first thing in the morning to cash in the ticket.
“I couldn’t remember the store I bought the winning ticket in,” said the lottery player told the NJ Lottery. “I couldn’t sleep at all last night. I didn’t want that ticket lying around. I was afraid I’d lose it.”
Sixteen other lottery players matched four balls, the Bullseye and Xtra to win $1,000 a piece.
The Jersey Cash 5 winning numbers for Saturday, June 7 were: 04, 06, 18, 30 and 39. The XTRA was 03 and Bulleseye: 39.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win.
