Costco Canada Just Added a New Perk for Executive Members

Costco Canada is adding a new perk for its Executive members, as explained in an email sent out on Wednesday morning and received by iPhone in Canada.

Starting June 30, 2025, those with Executive status will get a $10 monthly credit when they spend $150 or more on same-day delivery orders through Costco via Instacart. The offer is aimed at making it easier for members to get their bulk essentials delivered directly to their door. Instacart shoppers essentially do the shopping for you, but prices do have a markup that’s higher than in store (and you’re supposed to tip the driver). It may be worth the time and stress you’ll save on those times you really need an order from Costco.

Costco also reminded members of other Executive benefits, including:

• 2% annual reward on eligible Costco and Costco Travel purchases (up to $1,250)
• Extra savings on insurance (travel, term life, health and dental)
• Waived payment processing fees for the first year ($85 value)
• Pet insurance discounts
• 3% off express courier shipping
• 25% off packing supplies at portable and self-storage providers

The Executive Membership costs $130 per year, while a regular membership is $65. But paying double means you get perks across shopping, travel, and services. If your household is going to spend $6,500 per year ($541.67 per month), your 2% cheque back will pay for your full Executive membership ($130).

The Costco app offers access to your card to scan at the door and also provides your receipts for purchases made in-store and online.
