Fresh off the success of the 2025 Money in the Bank PLE, WWE is now all set to begin its King and Queen of the Ring tournament, which will conclude at the 2025 Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While the event itself isn’t named after the tournaments, unlike last year, the stakes are similar this year as well, with the winner getting a title shot at SummerSlam.
The tournament is all set to kick off on the 9th June episode of Raw, and the first round participants for it are now out. Sixteen men and women shall compete against each other in four fatal-four-way first-round matches to determine the final four semi-finalists.
Earlier tonight, ahead of the 9th June edition of Raw, general manager Adam Pearce announced on X (Twitter) and revealed the eight first-round participants spread across the men’s and women’s divisions.

Who Won The 2024 WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Tournament?
Last year, the tournament finals took place in Saudi Arabia, where Gunther defeated Randy Orton to crown himself the King of the Ring, while Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria in a violent final match to crown herself the Queen of the Ring.
Both the winners later received a World title shot at SummerSlam 2024, where they came out victorious.
