Caitin Clark has teamed up with Wilson Sporting Goods to launch her own line of basketballs.

After being sidelined with an injury, Caitlin Clark has now reach the timeframe she was expected to be out. But all eyes are on whether she’ll play in the Indiana Fever’s next game.

Clark has been out for the past two weeks after she suffered a left quad strain during the Fever’s 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty on May 24. While it forced Indiana to play without their star player for four games, the team said Clark would be out for a minimum of two weeks, meaning she would be eligible to return for the Fever’s road game against the Atlanta Dream on June 10.

She’s able to play, but will Clark actually suit up?

Is Caitlin Clark playing Tuesday vs Atlanta Dream?

Despite the two-week time period being over, Clark will not play against the Dream on Tuesday. After Monday’s practice, Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters Clark is expected to miss her fifth consecutive game.

Caitlin Clark injury update

Even though Clark returned to practice, White said the team is still “going to be cautious” with her and make sure she’s fully ready to go before allowing her to play again. Indiana is also taking the same approach with injured guard Sophie Cunningham.

“It’s one thing to do some shooting drills. It’s another thing to get out there on the floor, get into movement patterns, rhythm, timing,” White said, according to the Indianapolis Star, part of the USA TODAY Sports Network. “So picking and choosing the things they can be in in practice, so we can see their progression. Both of them being out for long periods of time, you’ve got to work your way into being game ready.”

Clark said the previous week she wouldn’t “rush back if it’s not worth it” and it’s more of a day-to-day approach to determine whether she can return.

“It’s the type of injury, like, you don’t know,” Clark said. “When I wake up, I’ll feel different than the day before. We’ll see.”

The 2024 WNBA rookie of the year was unsure when her injury occurred in the game against the Liberty, but she said she knew it happened early in the game. She received an MRI after she had pain following the game, which revealed the left quad strain.

When will Caitlin Clark return to play?

With Clark ruled out against Atlanta, the next game she could possibly return is Saturday, June 14 at home against the Liberty, the same team against who she suffered the injury.

Indiana has gone 2-2 without Clark, including wins in its past two games. The Fever are 4-4 on the 2025 season.
