Mumbai: A 22-year-old third-year MBBS student of Grant Medical College and JJ Hospital is suspected to have died by suicide in his hostel room late on Sunday. JJ Marg police have lodged an accidental death report and are probing the motive for the action.Police said Rohan Prajapati was found dead by a roommate, who alerted the hostel warden. Police took Prajapati to the hospital, where he was declared dead.“We have recorded the statements of his colleagues, parents and close friends. Prima facie, there is no foul play. It appears that he was was worried about his studies and his financial conditions,” said a police officer.Prajapati’s parents and elder brother live in Chandivli, Andheri.Need help?
