Bailey Zimmerman Talks Upcoming Project

Zimmerman recently opened up about his upcoming album Different Night Same Rodeo. And speaking of albums, the country singer revealed the one collaboration that was a dream come true.

Not long ago, Zimmerman stepped into the studio to record the new song “Backup Plan.” But not doing it alone, the rising star received the chance to collaborate with Luke Combs. A top name in the music industry after being named Entertainer of the Year in 2021 and 2022, Zimmerman saw the moment as a dream come true. “Working with Luke was a dream come true. I never really thought he was going to reply when I reached out about a collab, but he hit me up a month later and we’ve been good buddies ever since.”

Explaining how Combs never liked filming content, apparently, he made an expectation for Zimmerman, “Luke never shoots content, but he said he loves me and wanted to shoot with me, so it was an honor. Our song is in the top 20 on the radio and it’s a dream come true – I’m so grateful.”

Zimmerman “Comin’ In Cold” With New Song

Outside of “Backup Plan”, fans will get a new song from Bailey Zimmerman on Friday when “Comin’ In Cold” hits the airwaves. A different approach from his usual style, the singer explained, “It’s about this girl that I shouldn’t be chasing. I’m chasing red flags and I’m addicted to it. She’s everything I want and nothing I can have, just like a beer on a Saturday night.”

Breaking away from the heartbreak of love, Zimmerman found inspiration in his own life. “I’ve been trying to avoid being heartbroken and it’s always something. ‘Comin’ In Cold’ is about my life these last couple years. It’s more mature, but also not at the same time because I’m still chasing girls in bars.”

Performing during the CMA Fest, collaborating with Combs, and releasing “Comin’ In Cold”, the singer found a little extra time to kick off his summer tour. For Zimmerman, he was wasting no time at all when leaving his mark in country music.
