Jim Irsay died at the age of 65 on May 21. Irsay took over as the team’s principal owner in 1997 following the passing of his father Robert Irsay, the team’s previous owner, and saw the Colts advance to the playoffs 16 times, win two AFC championships and one Super Bowl during his tenure.
Irsay-Gordon joined the Colts as a vice president in 2008 and is a member of the league’s media owned and operated committee, the 32 equity committee, the league’s strategic capital fund and the security and fan conduct committee.
