The Colorado Rapids and Austin FC come together, both hoping to stay in the Western Conference playoff hunt during Major League Soccer action on Saturday.

These two squads are very close to one another in the conference standings, with plenty of time for both the Rapids and Austin to climb up the table, or fall near the cellar.

Colorado is trying to bounce back after a tough loss on the road last week, finishing with 10 men in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Portland Timbers, erasing a short two-match win streak for the club. Granted, the Rapids have looked better than they played last month, where they lost three contests in a row.

Austin would love to grab a win on Saturday night. The team has gone winless in eight straight MLS matches, going 0-4-4 during that span. Their last victory in league play came against the winless L.A. Galaxy on April 19.

The Rapids sit eighth in the West, two points ahead of 10th-place Austin.
