2026 Mahindra Bolero Spotted!

MotoWagon

We came across a few spy shots of the new Bolero, which is in the works. The spy shots showed a heavily camouflaged SUV, which gave us a glimpse of the silhouette of the future Bolero. The Mahindra Bolero has a great fan base in India as it is an affordable SUV with a robust and rugged build. The new Bolero looks quite like a mini Land Rover Defender. The body structure closely resembles that of a Defender. The wide body at the bottom, which tapers towards the roof, is quite similar to a Defender’s structure.

The new Bolero will be one of the first SUVs to be based on Mahindra’s NFA (New Flexible Architecture) platform, which will be the base of many upcoming petrol, diesel, electric and hybrid vehicles. Even though the Bolero was heavily camouflaged, we still got a few insights about its design. It gets a set of circular LED headlamps and a boxy and muscular structure. It also gets new alloy wheels, flush door handles, and new redesigned ORVMs. We expect the upcoming Bolero to get LED taillights, a panoramic sunroof, an ADAS suite and more.

The new Bolero will be based on the NFA platform, which will be used as a base for future Mahindra SUVs. The NFA platform is a monocoque architecture that will support all kinds of powertrains, including electric. However, the 2026 Mahindra Bolero will continue to use the current diesel powertrain and could possibly get a new petrol-hybrid powertrain. The 2026 Mahindra Bolero could also get a few new features like a larger infotainment screen, ABS, airbags, power windows and an upgraded interior.
