Neeson credits a connection from a pal for introducing him to a skilled massage therapist, the go-to healer for Broadway’s finest dancers, who took a hand at easing Neeson’s distress.

With hope in his voice, Liam expressed optimism that this therapy maven could turn the tide against the relentless cramps.

Elaborating further, he mentioned: “He got rid of lactic acid crystals in my leg and afterwards.”

Indeed, experts like those at the Mayo Clinic have linked muscle lactic acid build-up to factors like muscle overuse and dehydration, yet in Liam’s scenario, it’s his caffeine consumption that’s emerged as the primary culprit.

The actor divulged, “[The therapist] said, ‘Do you drink a lot of caffeine?’ and I said yes, I do,” Neeson recounted.

“He said ‘I would maybe drop it if you can and switch to decaf’ and I did. And the cramps disappeared by 90 percent.”

Since cutting off caffeine, Liam has conceded that he’s developed a new fixation — decaf tea being his latest beverage of choice. He has observed notable health improvements since switching to decaf.
