Clockwork Revolution finally shows off gameplay, but there’s bad news

Five minutes of new Clockwork Revolution gameplay has been shown off during Xbox’s summer showcase, but I’m afraid there’s also bad news. We’re going to be waiting a little bit longer to finally venture into Avalon, as the Inxile Entertainment RPG sadly doesn’t have a release date just yet.

Clockwork Revolution has shown up at Xbox’s newest summer showcase, offering us a five-minute trailer filled with new footage. The time-bending steampunk first-person RPG is one of the most promising looking games around right now, especially if you’re as big a fan of Bioshock Infinite as I am.

You can get stuck into the new footage below.

Here’s what Xbox has to say about Clockwork Revolution’s newest trailer: “Welcome to the Tangle, the slums of Avalon and home to you, Morgan Vanette, and your gang the Rotten Row Hooligans. After discovering that the ruthless Lady Ironwood has altered history—using time travel to enrich herself while keeping Avalon’s people poor and powerless—you’re thrust into an adventure across time to turn back the clock and right Ironwood’s wrongs—however you see fit.”

Clockwork Revolution is currently listed as “coming in due time,” meaning we’ll have to wait a little bit longer.
