Jennifer Lopez completely changed up her look for the upcoming film, Kiss of the Spider Woman.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Lopez is playing Ingrid Luna/the Spider Woman, a silver-screen actress, in the new film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, which premiered in 1993. In the trailer for the film, Lopez sported bleach-blond hair styled in loose waves. She also wore vintage-inspired makeup, including deep red lipstick, defined eyebrows, and winged eyeliner. The musical film also stars Diego Luna and Tonatiuh.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Lopez, who is also one of the film’s producers, spoke about Kiss of the Spider Woman in a November 2024 interview on Variety’s Awards Circuitpodcast.

“It’s a dark story, but also one about love and survival — about helping each other through hard times. I think that’s a message we really need right now,” said Lopez during the podcast interview.
Lopez uploaded the trailer for her upcoming project in a June 5 Instagram post.
