On Friday, May 30, the actor, 59, posted a photo on Instagram of him and his wife Jilian attending their twin sons Darby and Sullivan’s high school graduation.
“Graduation!!” Patrick wrote in the caption. “So proud of you boys and cannot wait to see where the next chapter of your lives will take you!” His wife Jilian, 59, added in the comment section, “🙌 🙌.”
In the photo, Patrick and Julian are seen smiling while posing with their boys, Darby and Sullivan, 18, who are wearing matching navy-blue graduation robes outdoors. The siblings graduated from the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California.

Darby reposted the sweet family photo on his Instagram along with snapshots of him shaking hands with a professor onstage as he collected his diploma and a photo of him joined by his older sister, Talula, 23, at the ceremony.

“Couldn’t have asked for a better senior year,” Darby wrote in the caption. Mom Jilian replied in the comment section, “Bby B I am so proud of you ❤️🙌❤️🐔,” as sister Talula also commented,” 🤙🤙🤙.”
Sullivan, meanwhile, shared a photo on his Instagram Stories of him posing with a group of his “best friends” all sporting their graduation caps and robes indoors.

Patrick’s Instagram post celebrating his sons’ graduation comes after the actor previously shared with PEOPLE the “challenges” of raising his three children in the spotlight.
The Ferrari star said his kids, “want to have their own identity, separate from me and that shadow.”
“They all have unique qualities and they have their own goals that they need to develop and harvest themselves and we just try to model our behavior and hopefully they’ll pick up on that,” he told PEOPLE. “…They are all very disciplined on that and you just try to instill the right values.”

Patrick said it has been “very challenging” having his children “grow up in Hollywood, but he and his wife Jilian have tried to keep “a good, calm, loving, safe environment for them.”
“They need to find out how they interact in the world, they need to learn those boundaries, they need to make mistakes. And you need to be there for them and allow them to learn from that,” the actor added.
